Shipped To Vietnam — How We Pack A Control Room Console For Export

Heavy steel workstations are not fragile in the conventional sense, but they are vulnerable to surface damage, moisture, and shifting during long-haul transport. Our packaging process addresses all three.

Wooden crate first. Each control room console is placed inside a custom-built wooden crate sized to the unit. The crate sits on a reinforced base with forklift entry points on both sides, making loading and unloading clean and controlled - exactly what you see in the photo above.

Internal securing. Before the crate is sealed, the console is padded with EPE foam on all six sides. Corner guards protect the steel edges. The unit does not move inside the crate once packed - any shifting during ocean freight is what causes most damage, and we eliminate that at the source.

Moisture protection. A layer of stretch film goes directly over the console before foam padding is applied. For Vietnam-bound shipments, where humidity during port handling can be high, we also place desiccant bags inside the crate before it is nailed shut.

Load orientation marking. Every crate is clearly marked with "THIS SIDE UP," fragile indicators, and the destination. The forklift operator loads it flat, and the marks tell handlers at every stop how to treat it.

The client in Vietnam received their unit ready to install - no surface scratches, no dents, no complaints. That outcome is not luck. It is the result of treating the packaging as seriously as the product itself.
